Terms of Service

Your Family: The Movie · Effective July 3, 2026

The short version: we build your movie from the footage you upload, the shot list is your checklist, one revision is included, editing starting means all sales are final, and your footage stays yours and deletes from our systems within 14 days. The full version follows.

1. Who we are

"Your Family: The Movie" is a service of Kadmon Group LLC ("we", "us"). By purchasing, uploading footage, or using this site, you ("you", the "customer") agree to these Terms. You must be 18 or older to purchase.

2. The service

You purchase a video editing service. You film your own footage following our shot list, upload it through the private link we provide, and we deliver an edited video ("the movie") per the package you purchased. We edit footage. We do not film, reshoot, or create footage you did not provide.

3. Your footage, your responsibility

  • Quality in, quality out. Your movie is built from your footage. We make what you send look its best, but we cannot fix shaky, dark, corrupt, or missing clips.
  • The shot list is your checklist. Missed or unusable shots are not grounds for a refund. We build the best movie possible from what you upload.
  • Minimum footage. Ten usable clips is the minimum for a full edit. Below that, your order becomes a best effort edit, and we will notify you before editing begins.
  • You own it and you're allowed to send it. You confirm you have the right to upload the footage and that everyone in it (or their parent/guardian) consents to it being edited and delivered to you.

4. Deadlines and delivery

  • Upload deadline for the 250th Edition is 11:59 PM your local time on July 4, 2026. Late uploads roll to the next delivery window.
  • Delivery times are targets, not guarantees. If a paid Premiere (9 AM) order misses its window, the Premiere fee is refunded and the base order stands.

5. Revisions and refunds

  • One revision included per order: swap one clip, correct a spelling, or adjust the title card. A revision is not a re-edit.
  • All sales are final once editing begins. A human editor starts on your footage the moment it lands, so completed and in-progress work is non-refundable.
  • Digital products (the Shoot It Yourself Kit) are non-refundable once delivered.
  • Initiating a chargeback for services already rendered violates these Terms. Contact us first, a human answers.

6. Ownership and license

  • Your footage stays yours. You grant us a limited license to store, edit, and deliver it solely to fulfill your order.
  • Your finished movie is yours for personal use, including posting on your personal social media accounts.
  • We retain ownership of our edit templates, intro/end card designs, and brand elements as they exist outside your delivered movie.
  • We will never share, post, or feature your movie or footage unless you checked the feature opt-in at checkout.

7. Footage retention

Uploaded footage and project files are deleted from our systems within 14 days of delivery. Keep your own originals; we cannot recover footage after deletion.

8. Music

Soundtracks come from our commercial license library and are cleared for your personal social posting of the delivered movie. Platform-native sounds you add after posting are between you and the platform.

9. Sequel Pass subscription

  • The Sequel Pass is $147 per year, covering the four listed holiday editions, and renews automatically each year.
  • We email a reminder 7 days before every renewal. Cancel anytime before renewal by replying to any of our emails; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term.
  • Each edition follows the same footage, deadline, and revision terms above.

10. Thanksgiving upgrade credit

If offered at purchase, your Thanksgiving Premiere payment ($97) may be applied as full credit toward the Sequel Pass for 7 days following delivery of your Thanksgiving movie. One use, non-transferable, no cash value.

11. Text messages

By providing your phone number you consent to receive transactional texts about your order (confirmation, upload link, filming reminders, delivery). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out; we will then use email for required order communication.

12. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, content you lack rights to, or files other than photos and videos. We may decline and refund (pre-edit) any order at our discretion, including content we are not comfortable editing.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to your order is capped at the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for platform behavior (e.g., how Instagram compresses or ranks your post).

14. Not affiliated with America250

We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission or America250.

15. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; the effective date above reflects the current version. Uploading footage constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
